　　Along with Tianjin Municipal Government Delegation, four people including Mr. William Lin, Mr. James Lin, Vice President, Mr. Wang Juncai, Director of Developemnt, and Ms. Zhang Zhijun, assistant to CEO, attended annual conference of 2005 PTC and Intelligent Community Forum on 19 January 2005 in Hawwaii On the conference, Tianjin was named as one of Top Seven Intelligent Community of the World.

　　The intelligent communities of the world are nominated in the world area, hosted by World Teleport Association (WTA) and Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) and examined by both experts consultants commission and independent research consulting company.

　　Authorized by Tianjin Municipal Information Industry Office, Dragon Telecommunication assisted government in collecting, consolidating and editing application materials, created special program on publicizing Tianjin's intelligence construction achievement and made great efforts in applying for intelligent community of the world. In the first comparison, Tianjin was selected from more than 100 applicant cities in the world and listed in top 18 finalist as nominated city as a result of attending the annual ICF conference.

　　On 19 January,2005, ICF announced the latest competition result that Tianjin has been named as the world's intelligent city. This is the first time for Mainland China's city to be honored. The other six intelligent cities are: Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, Mitaka, Japan, Pirai, Brazil, Singapore, Sunderland, United Kingdom, Toronto, Canada.
