　　With the support of Tianjin Municipal Council and Government, the first committee conference of Tianjin Overseas Returned Scholars Association (TORSA) grandly took place at the great hall of Political Consultant Committee under the leadership of Municipal United Front Work department and associated units. Mr. Zhu Xun, Vice President of Chinese Overseas-returned Scholars Association announced a congratulation letter from Mr. Han Qi De, deputy commissioner of Chinese People’s Congress, President of Western Returned Scholars Association and Chinese Overseas-returned Scholars Association. On the conference, the president, vice president and secretary general of TORSA was elected and designated. Meanwhile, honorable president and consultant are invited to attend the conference. Mr. William Lin was named as Vice president of TORSA.
