        International Labor Day festival was celebrated at Tianjin town hall where the model workers (including individuals and groups) awarding ceremony took place in the morning on 27 April 2005. Tianjin municipal council and government commended these model workers elected in 2004 at the ceremony. Mr. Zhang Lichang, commissioner of Central Political Bureau and secretary of Tianjin Municipal Council attended the conference where he delivered a speech. The heads of Tianjin government awarded badges and medals and issued certificates to the model workers and representatives of advanced institutions. Mr. William Lin honorably obtained the title of ‘Model Worker of the city’.
